Pushan Chowdhury
My name is Dr. Pushan Chowdhury. I have been a Pediatrician for over 10 years. My experiences include taking care of children in the urgent care, newborn nursery, inpatient services and outpatient clinics. Preventative medicine has always been a passion of mine and thus, in the last few years, I have focused my practice as a primary care provider for the pediatric community. I have a keen interest in the prevention of childhood obesity, and I have had the opportunity to be part of a team to develop a pediatric weight management program. I also have been involved in Clinical Informatics, which is the union of technology and medicine to provide better patient care. One of my favorite quotes by William Osler is “The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.” I believe that prevention and good patient care are the cornerstone of medicine and I hope I succeed in those objectives through my practice.
